Proxima Fusion is tackling the full breadth of stellarator power plant design, focusing on a simulation-first approach. Our goal is to not only demonstrate physics performance and engineering feasibility but also commercial viability for our concept.
We are working with energy companies and key technologies suppliers across Europe to bring this vision to reality. Having completed a successful VC funding round, we are expanding our Munich-based founding team.
We are currently seeking an outstanding candidate to fill the position of People and Culture Lead. In this role, you would work with the Proxima team on a wide variety of topics to grow our company, while establishing an inclusive company culture and help improving all aspects of diversity in the team. Our People and Culture Lead should have a sixth sense for how to make teams click, a strategic mindset to grow the company and a pragmatic attitude. As the People and Culture Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's success while fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to accelerate the company's growth.
Establish and nurture an inclusive company culture that promotes diversity and belonging.
Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and address organizational needs and challenges.
Contribute to operational needs of the company, including administration, HR, and external representation.
Take the lead on developing an excellent and inclusive office culture.
Join the founding team with a pragmatic attitude to always rise to challenges.
Requirements:
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to get along with both business and technical teams.
You have strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
You are passionate about company culture and creating a positive and productive work environment for everyone.
You are happy to work on operational tasks as well as strategic topics.
You like to work independently, think entrepreneurially, and act proactively.
You thrive in social contexts and enjoy meeting interesting people.
You are happy to travel sometimes as part of your job.
You are fluent in both German and English.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in HR management or people leadership roles.
Proven track record of building and leading diverse and high-performing teams.
In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws in Germany.
