The impact you'll have
We are seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Senior Manager of OEM Partnerships with a strong background in the automotive industry to join our international team in Munich. Reporting to the MD Strategic partnerships, you will be responsible for driving and nurturing relationships with new OEMs to secure strategic partnerships and enhance our position within the automotive market during this critical expansion phase.
More specifically, you will:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive OEM partnership strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives
  • Leverage existing contact network and target potential OEM partners within the automotive industry, evaluating their compatibility with our products and services
  • Lead negotiations with OEMs, including terms, pricing, and service level agreements. Manage contract creation, execution, and ongoing relationship management
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Legal, to ensure the successful integration and delivery of products and services to OEM partners
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats
  • Establish KPIs to track the success of partnerships and report regularly to senior management
  • Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders at OEMs, including executives, engineers, and decision-makers
  • Ensure that all partnerships adhere to industry regulations and compliance standards
Who you are and what you bring:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or a related field
  • Experience in OEM partnership development within the automotive industry ideally in a B2B SaaS organisation
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating (high-value or strategically important) deals and managing partnerships with OEMs
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape
  • Ability to navigate complex organisations
  • Proven track record for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Development, Product, Sales and Support
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Adaptability and a willingness to embrace change and continuous improvement
  • Can-do attitude and growth mindset
  • Proactive and willing to go the extra mile
  • Great collaboration, presentation and intra-personal skills
  • Fluent in English. German skills a plus
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with OEM partners and attend industry events
