Tanso

Tanso

Munich, Germany
Posted on Friday, May 10, 2024

Your Role

As a Sustainability & Decarbonization Specialist you get to be at the front row of industrial decarbonization and transitioning towards a more sustainable economy. By being on the pulse of new regulation and frameworks, your role is to translate mandatory requirements into actionable and practical solutions together with our customers and our expert network and educate the broader market.

If you are exited to calculate the ROI of a reduction measure in a climate transition plan, explain how the ESRS are harmonizing international non-financial reporting, or what energy sources the industry can bet on for production, transport and in their supply chains - or if you just get excited reading this - send in an application and we would love to get to know you!.

How you succeed

📉 Translate regulation into action

  • Proactive: Research regulatory requirements and best practices for the industry, especially CSRD and decarbonization
  • Reactive: Deep dive into and support customers on methodology and practical sustainability advice based on their data and insights

💬 Communicate with clarity

  • External: Transform regulatory and climate insights into structured external-facing material, articles, workshops, and webinars
  • Internal: Educate internal teams on the newest regulation, methodology and best practices

🗣️ Be an entrepreneurial thought leader

  • Lead high-stake meetings and facilitate strategic and methodological workshops on e.g. decarbonization and double materiality
  • Be an evangelist for Tanso and industrial decarbonization through panels, public statements, LinkedIn, etc.

Whom you will be working with

  • Gyri (CPO)
  • Vignesh (Senior Carbon Specialist)
  • Franziska (Customer Success Lead)

Job requirements

P.S.: You're wondering why there isn't a list of concrete skill requirements in the job description?

However, to ensure we can communicate effectively within our team, your language proficiency in English should be at least level C1 or higher, as well as to effectively work on any topic, your language proficiency in German should also be at least level C1 or higher.
