Become part of Tanso and decarbonise industries with us.

To lead the discovery, design, and delivery of impactful sustainability solutions, we are looking for a Product Manager (f/m/x).

As a Product Manager, you will own and drive the product roadmap including product offering, feature scope, integrations, and commercial impact, ensuring alignment with Tanso’s overall vision and strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Define clear outcomes and measurable objectives, balancing long-term strategy with short-term impact through structured roadmaps.
  • Prioritize ruthlessly to maximize impact, making pragmatic decisions under uncertainty and iterating quickly to accelerate learning and deliver results while optimizing engineering resource allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional product discovery in close collaboration with Design and Engineering to deeply understand user problems, uncover high-value opportunities, and systematically reduce product risks (value, usability, feasibility, viability).
  • Actively contribute to technical discussions and architectural trade-offs; work closely with Engineering to solve complex problems.
  • Develop deep expertise in industrial customers’ decarbonization workflows, particularly in GHG accounting, to inform product strategy and decision-making.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Climate Intelligence, and Sales to analyze usage patterns, identify blockers, and uncover expansion opportunities, integrating both commercial and user perspectives into product decisions.
  • Champion AI-native ways of working by leveraging AI tools to maximize productivity and impact; contribute to the development and successful delivery of AI-enabled products.
  • Translate user insights and business context into clear hypotheses, well-defined problem statements, and prioritized, actionable deliverables.

Your profile

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management, ideally working on technical and/or data-driven products, with strong commercial acumen and understanding of business impact.
  • Fluent German (C1 level or higher) and English, both written and spoken.
  • Solid foundation in modern product discovery and experimentation practices, including hypothesis-driven development and iterative validation.
  • Strong understanding of modern product delivery processes and experience working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with contemporary product and development tooling, such as Linear, Cursor, and AI-assisted coding environments.
  • Strong systems thinking capabilities with experience contributing to complex, interconnected product ecosystems.

What we offer

  • A highly competitive compensation package with an attractive equity package to participate in Tanso's growth.
  • Hybrid working model that combines the benefits of onsite collaboration with the flexibility needed.
  • A company-contributed pension plan to support long-term financial security.
  • Our competitive commission model that puts you in control of your earning potential.
  • Yearly budget to support ongoing professional development.
  • Sponsored access to EGYM Wellpass to prioritize your wellbeing with thousands of options.
  • Exclusive discounts that help you save on a wide range of everyday brands, services, and experiences.

Why Tanso?

  • Directly influence how companies understand, act upon and report on sustainability.
  • Lead initiatives that matter, in projects where innovation meets purpose.
  • Drive ideas forward and take responsibility to make a difference.
