About Reel

Reel is building Europe's next-generation renewable energy platform, solving one of the biggest problems in today's energy markets: matching renewable supply with corporate demand. We're creating a new category by combining renewable energy optimization, a tech platform and tailored electricity supply solutions.

We rethink electricity from first principles to accelerate the shift to a carbon-free energy system - closing the gap between renewable producers and corporate consumers by enabling companies to increase the value of renewable energy, move beyond 'green claims' and achieve verifiable carbon reductions.

How you can contribute

As our Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll be the first conversation many companies have with Reel. You’ll find the right people, get them interested in our green electricity solutions, and book meetings for our sales team. Each meeting you set up is a step towards a company cutting both its energy costs and its emissions.

You don’t need a degree or sales experience. You’ll get coaching from our sales team from day one, and you’ll learn a lot in a short time:

  • How B2B sales works, from the first cold call to a booked meeting.

  • How the European energy market works, and why matching renewable supply with corporate demand is hard.

  • How to use data and experiments to get better at what you do.

  • What it’s like to work at a fast-growing startup.

The role can be part-time (15-20h/w) or full-time, and it’s a good way to get real work experience in sustainability and/or sales before you start your studies.

What your role will look like

  • Most of your time goes to outbound calls, with the rest spent researching companies and following up. You’ll have a weekly target for booked meetings.

  • Reach out to new companies, mainly by phone, with email and LinkedIn alongside.

  • Have first conversations with decision-makers, qualify leads and book follow-up meetings for the sales team (and at times, attend these meetings).

  • Research target companies and stakeholders to tailor messaging and outreach.

  • Maintain and update CRM data (HubSpot) to ensure a smooth and transparent sales pipeline. We’re a data‑driven sales team that prioritizes strong data hygiene.

  • Experiment with different outreach tactics to improve conversion rates and share learnings with the team.

We think you will thrive in this role if

  • You like talking to new people, including ones who aren’t expecting your call.

  • You can hear a no without taking it personally, and pick up the phone again.

  • You don’t mind doing the same thing many times a day, because you know that will get you closer to your goal.

  • You are fluent in Danish and English.

  • You don’t need sales experience. We care more about how you work than what’s on your CV. However, any experience in sales or customer-facing roles is of course a plus.

  • You have a genuine interest in sustainability, climate action, or renewable energy.

  • You’re curious about technology and business.

  • You are motivated to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performing commercial team.

  • You are looking for an exciting opportunity to get real work experience in a growing company
