How you can contribute
As our new Head of Sales, you will take on a defining commercial leadership role at Reel. Working closely with Anders (CCO & Co-founder), Martin (VP of Partnerships) and the broader leadership team, you will own and drive our sales strategy and team – building the commercial engine that takes Reel from ambitious scale-up to the dominant B2B energy supplier.
You will lead and grow a high-performing sales team, shape our go-to-market approach (both pre-sales and post-sales), and ensure we consistently generate pipeline, win clients, and build lasting relationships in the renewable energy space.
What your role will look like
Own and execute Reel's sales strategy and playbook, driving revenue growth at the B2B segment in Denmark (and where relevant, supporting other markets).
Lead, hire, and develop a growing team of experienced sales professionals (you will be managing a team of 3 SDRs, 2 Account Executives, 2 Account Directors and a Revenue Operations Manager in Denmark, as a start).
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within our core customer segment (medium to large corporate energy consumers).
Work closely with C-level stakeholders at client organisations, acting as a senior trusted advisor on renewable energy procurement and decarbonisation.
Develop and continuously refine our Sales Playbook, value proposition, and sales tactics based on data and market feedback.
Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Finance to ensure commercial offerings are competitive, scalable, and impactful.
Report on commercial performance to the leadership team and Board, with clear KPIs across pipeline, conversion, and revenue.
Champion Reel's mission in the Danish and broader European energy market.
We think you will thrive in this role if
You are a commercially driven leader who knows how to build and scale a sales function. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and you know how to inspire a team to perform at their best. You bring credibility in the boardroom and a builder's mentality in everything else.
Must have: Fluency in Danish (written and spoken) and English is a must.
Significant experience in a senior sales leadership role - ideally within energy, infrastructure, financial services, or another complex B2B environment - with the willingness to operate without the safety net of an established brand.
A proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams and, hitting ambitious revenue targets, and personally driving complex deals across the line
Strong ability to work with and influence C-level decision-makers and build long-term client relationships.
A data-driven mindset with solid CRM habits and a structured approach to pipeline management (we use HubSpot) and tech-savvy approach, with willingness to use latest tech tools and AI where relevant.
Knowledge of energy markets, PPAs, or sustainability is a strong plus, but not a requirement.
Clear communication skills, strong commercial instincts, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
