Talent Lead
Help us build world-class teams that drive the energy transition.
Why join Reel?
We are rethinking electricity to accelerate the transition to a carbon-free energy system.
Electricity is one of the biggest sources of carbon emissions globally, yet most green power sold on the market today fails move the needle toward decarbonizing electricity production.
At Reel, we empower companies to move beyond climate commitments and achieve real-world carbon reductions, by bridging the gap between renewable energy producers and consumers.
We can't wait for you to join our cross-disciplinary team of developers, builders, and climate experts working to accelerate the transition to a net-zero energy system.
How You Contribute to the Mission
You’ll take ownership of all things Talent at Reel as we enter this next exciting phase of growth. Your mission will be to ensure we attract and hire Denmark and Europe’s best talent, in order for us to scale thoughtfully and purposely.
You’ll also play a leading role in building the foundations of our Talent infrastructure, paving the way for years of ambitious but sustainable growth.
What Your Role Will Look Like
You’ll be incredibly hands-on, owning talent sourcing and the full recruitment lifecycle. You’ll work together with hiring managers and Executive Team, providing expert advice and talent market insights, as we scope our ideal candidate profiles and build out our future headcount plans.
Manage our talent technology stack and be our go-to expert for candidate referrals.
Lead the end-to-end recruiting process, from crafting inspiring job descriptions to conducting interviews and managing candidate communication.
Innovate and scale Reel’s talent acquisition function by designing and implementing lean, effective recruiting systems.
Drive employer branding initiatives and represent Reel at events, career fairs, and within talent communities.
We think you will thrive in this role if…
You're excited about building teams that change the world.
You’ve spent at least three years recruiting for high-growth (ideally early stage) businesses, with at least some of that time working as part of an in-house talent team.
You understand the nuance of hiring for a young, fast-growing company without a big employer brand: you are outbound-focused, creative and tenacious in your approach.
You have hired extensively for both technical and non-technical roles, ideally across a range of seniority levels. You will likely have several relevant areas of deep topical expertise and network.
You understand how to build thorough, trusting and successful Hiring Manager partnerships (including with Founders / Senior Executives) - you have experience being part of role-scoping discussions and know how to effectively push back when necessary.
You’re fluent in the recruiter’s toolkit (eg. LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS management).
You’re comfortable with (at minimum) the basics of technical and commercial talent sourcing and can work with technical hiring managers to spot key patterns and trends.
You have a global mindset, with experience hiring across diverse geographies and backgrounds.

We are on a mission to empower companies to make a positive difference for climate through the electricity they buy. Reel enables all companies to enter a new type of electricity contract (Power Purchase Agreement) that reduces CO₂ emissions by adding new renewable electricity to the grid.
