The Impact You Will Make

As our new Algorithm Developer, you will be helping us develop a state of the art continuous trading platform for the physical power market. You will work directly with Edoardo, our Head of Trading and Flexibility, and Christian, our CTO, and the rest of the tech team to build the digital infrastructure for the renewable energy transition.

This is a high impact role where you will work for a climate tech company. Your work will be integral to helping companies reduce their CO₂ emissions and decarbonize our electricity grid by lowering costs for developers of new renewable infrastructure.

What You Will Work On

These are some (not all) of the things you will be working on:

• Develop and iteratively improve our 24/7 trading platform for the continuous intraday market.

• Conceptualize and deploy trading strategies to lower the cost of balancing renewables and extract value from flexible assets and proprietary trading.

• Collaborate with quantitative traders, data scientists and software developers building trading systems and strategies.

• Build out best-in-class data pipelines handling vast amounts of data.

• Take part in making key technical decisions, such as what to build in-house and what to outsource, or our backend architecture.

• Perform code reviews, sharing constructive feedback with your colleagues.

• Take ownership of the operations of our platform alongside your team members.

• Keep a high level of technical quality, introducing new best practices, and keeping our systems up to date.
