Mission Brief
We are looking for a Senior PLM Architect to shape the technical foundation of our PLM landscape. Partnering closely with business analysts, engineering teams, and IT, you will translate business requirements into scalable Teamcenter solutions and ensure a reliable, integrated platform that supports the entire product lifecycle.
Your Role in Our Space Mission:
- Own the technical architecture of the Teamcenter landscape, ensuring a scalable, secure, and maintainable PLM platform that supports business objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of Teamcenter solutions, including data models, workflows, integrations, and system configurations, while promoting the use of standard capabilities where appropriate.
- Define technical standards, development guidelines, and architectural best practices, and provide technical leadership to internal and external development teams.
- Collaborate closely with PLM Business Analysts, business stakeholders, and IT teams to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Drive the integration of Teamcenter with enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, CAD, and other engineering applications to enable a seamless digital thread across the product lifecycle.
- Ensure platform reliability and long-term sustainability by overseeing system performance, release planning, upgrades, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide expert technical support for complex PLM issues, act as the highest level of technical escalation, and guide root cause analysis to ensure platform stability and continuous improvement
Qualification Checklist
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing Siemens Teamcenter solutions, with strong expertise in areas such as BMIDE, workflows, data modeling, security, integrations, and Active Workspace.
- Solid understanding of PLM concepts, including product structures (BOM), document management, engineering change management, revision and effectivity management, and product lifecycle processes.
- Proven experience designing integrations between Teamcenter and enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, CAD, and manufacturing applications using modern integration technologies and APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical solution design, mentor development teams, establish architectural standards, and review technical implementations to ensure quality and maintainability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams and explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
