Your Mission

Oversee the future scaling of Isar Aerospace’s Enterprise IT landscape with a focus on production, consisting of the following systems: ERP, PLM, and MES.

More specifically, you will:

  • Lead and oversee the production and enterprise IT teams, providing strategic direction and guidance to ensure seamless operations and alignment with the company's goals.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards, fostering a culture of efficiency, security, and innovation within the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to understand business process needs and translate them into IT solutions that support the company's projects and initiatives.
  • Implement logistics and manufacturing processes in a regulated aerospace environment making most use of efficiency advantages out of integrated business IT solutions.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure, data centers, and cloud-based services, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Establish and maintain IT security protocols and compliance measures to safeguard sensitive data and protect against cyber threats.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for process improvements and recommending innovative IT solutions.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT team, fostering professional development and cultivating a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Who you are and what you have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus
  • Proven leadership experience in managing production and enterprise IT teams, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar managerial role
  • Personal experience in a production-related setting, being involved hands-on in the implementation and maintenance of Enterprise IT systems
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, network architecture, data centers, and cloud technologies, with a track record of successful implementation and management
  • Strong understanding of IT security best practices, compliance requirements, and risk management in a highly sensitive and regulated environment
  • Detailed knowledge of standard business IT components, e.g., PLM, ERP, MES, and their implementation and seamless integration into a business processes environment
  • Demonstrated ability to align IT strategies with business objectives, driving innovation and efficiency to support the space company's projects and missions
  • Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and vendor/partner relationships to optimize IT investments and services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, executives, and stakeholders
  • Proactive and forward-thinking approach, staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Nice to have:

  • Having worked yourself in a role on the shop floor before is a plus
