The Public Affairs team at Flix Mexico drives institutional positioning, regulatory strategy, and strategic partnerships to enable sustainable expansion in a complex and highly regulated environment. This role plays a critical function in connecting government engagement with business ecosystem alliances, ensuring both regulatory access and strategic positioning across key markets.

About the Role

  • Lead and execute Flix’s Public Affairs strategy in Mexico, aligning institutional engagement with business priorities.
  • Develop and manage relationships with federal, state, and municipal authorities to support expansion and regulatory positioning.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with strategic ecosystem players.
  • Drive policy advocacy efforts and participate in regulatory processes impacting the mobility and infrastructure sector.
  • Identify and activate strategic opportunities that enhance market access, positioning, and partnerships.
  • Monitor political and regulatory developments, proactively managing risks and defining mitigation strategies.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Law, Public Policy, International Relations, Economics or related field); Master’s degree is a plus
  • 4+ years of experience in Public Affairs, Government Relations, or policy advocacy, preferably in regulated industries (transport, infrastructure, energy)
  • Strong understanding of Mexico’s regulatory and political landscape, with proven experience engaging public sector stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience working with business chambers or industry associations
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills at senior levels
  • Strong strategic thinking, judgment, and ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
