As a Head of Revenue and Commercial Excellence (m/f/d) you will drive a holistic commercial strategy across North America, aligning stakeholders and overseeing execution of market, revenue, marketing, and e-commerce tactics. Accountable for P&L performance, competitive positioning, and steering marketing & sales initiatives to achieve regional business goals.

About the Role

  • As regional commercial leader, building and defining a holistic commercial strategy, aligning with all relevant stakeholders, and supervising its implementation. This includes topics as general market and revenue strategy as well as marketing and e-commerce tactics.
  • Acting as commercial leaders for their regions and being the central commercial point contact for the North America Senior Leadership team including the Region CEO
  • Accountability in regards of the financial planning performance in the P&L for topline and profitability
  • Defining commercial tactics to achieve business region goals and overseeing their execution
  • Monitoring regional performance of all revenue streams and initiating necessary actions on pricing, sales, marketing, or RM levers
  • Steering Marketing & Sales strategy, activities, and related budget for their region
  • Defining competitive strategy, assessing price positioning, and taking corrective measures if necessary
  • Aligning with channel teams for optimal strategy implementation
  • Pitching and supporting E-commerce features roll-out for their region within RMCE departmental process
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders in the Region for action and proposals leading to revenue and profitability optimization

About You

  • 8+ years as a Senior Manager in Revenue Management or Commercial Development
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to assess the financial and strategic value of a project and prioritize when resources are limited, and the scope is large
  • Passion for profit optimization and ability to leverage data analytics to drive strategic decisions in pricing, revenue management, and marketing
  • Solid knowledge and management of at least the following (list not exhaustive):
  • Discover and propose strategic e-commerce developments, and provide support to technical teams for the implementation
  • Experience in dealing with commercial, business and technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with revenue optimization programs would be a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills towards a wide range of stakeholders
  • Lateral leader, team player, community builder, ability to facilitate and quickly adapt communication/presentation to groups with diverse backgrounds
  • You bring openness, mutual respect + understanding, curiosity and a positive attitude towards collaboration across the division and organization
  • You feel comfortable in an environment with a lot of freedom and autonomy
  • Experience working in business teams, proven improvement of agile + organizational processes and the ability to interpret and communicate actionable results to senior management
  • Fluent in English
