We're looking for a motivated and driven UI/UX Specialist - Learning Management Systems who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

You will be responsible for designing and optimizing user interfaces and experiences for our LMS (FlixUni) platform, ensuring it is user-friendly and aligned with Flix’s brand identity. You will collaborate closely with instructional designers, content developers, and other stakeholders to create a learning environment that is both effective and enjoyable.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

User Interface Design

• Design an intuitive interface for our LMS (FlixUni) platform, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts.
• Ensure all designs align with Flix’s brand guidelines and respective design system guidelines are followed.

User Experience Optimization

• Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and identify areas for improvement in the user journey and the LMS user experience.
• Collaborate with eLearning designers to ensure that learning content is presented in an engaging and accessible way and be ready to “get your hands dirty” to carry out implementation yourself.
• Act as an advocate for user-centered design principles within the LMS team by making data-informed decisions and work with business and UX metrics.
• Follow UX writing best practices for scalable content strategies, localization, and accessibility.

Project & Content Management

• Organize and manage content updates, ensuring accuracy and relevance over time.
• Implement and maintain a content style guide for the LMS to ensure consistency across all materials and aligning with content design system guidelines.
• Roll up your sleeves and deliver projects from A to Z by doing work yourself, while exploring content approaches to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Experience
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably within an LMS or educational context.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of UI/UX projects, with a focus on digital platforms and user-centered design.

Skills

• Deep understanding of user experience principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, typography, and color.
• Experience with HTML/CSS and JavaScript development is a plus.
• System administration expertise of eLearning integrations is a plus.
• Fluency in English (important as we create all content in English), any other language is a plus.
