After a successful launch earlier this year, of Flixbus in its 43rd country, India, we are on the lookout for a motivated and driven Country Marketing & Sales Lead who will spearhead the locally led Marketing and Sales efforts for Flixbus for the India market.

This position will be based in Gurgaon. We have hybrid model (3 times per week in the office). Ideal start date: November/December.

Reporting: You will report directly into the Managing Director and will lead the Flix India Marketing & Sales team – currently consisting of 3 employees with a strong growth ambition.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

  • Marketing Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for all marketing efforts in India, overseeing budget planning, strategy, and execution of locally managed channels.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with HQ teams, including Commercial and Performance Marketing, to maximize impact and leverage global efficiencies. Own the Marketing Calendar for India, ensuring alignment with country strategy and stakeholder coordination.
  • Brand & Customer Focus: Influence brand communications and creative asset development for India, while championing customer insights to enhance both digital and offline experiences.
  • Locally Managed Channels: The following channels are managed locally, and you will be accountable for the goals linked to them:
  • Partnerships & Direct Marketing: You will lead the India Partnerships and Direct Marketing function where you will lead the development and implementation of partnership strategies to fuel the growth of Flixbus in India. You will also lead planning and execution of local activations.
  • Online and Offline Distribution: You will lead the Online and Offline distribution team. This will include managing online partners such as Redbus, as well as offline resellers across the country.
  • Social & Community: You will be responsible for leading the efforts on Social Media platforms. Together with the team and external partners, you will develop and implement a comprehensive Organic Social Media strategy to bolster Flixbus’ community engagement and brand awareness.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): You will be responsible for planning and steering CRM campaigns in India and coordinate with the HQ team on the CRM plan for India. This will be tied into the engagement strategies around Social & Community.

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

  • Degree in Business or equivalent
  • 8-10+ years of experience in leading B2C marketing efforts in India ideally in a high growth digital-first business
  • 1-2 years of demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical skills paired with effective communication and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action
  • Fluent in English + other Indian languages
