Procurement Manager

We're looking for a Commodity Manager who will help us shape our team and drive the company to the next level. As a key member of the North America Procurement team, you will manage assigned procurement contract activities from need to contract execution and lead procurement projects in assisting functional business leadership.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

  • Conducting procurement and strategic sourcing planning activities.
  • Create and issuing bid packages; inclusive of Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP) to suppliers and contractors, and consistently managing proposals and contracts, along with developing specific standards for bidding and submission.
  • Conducting contract negotiations and advising requesters/stakeholders on the commercial basis for supplier/contractor selection.
  • Identifying risks throughout contract negotiations and ensuring company is protected.
  • Overseeing the formation and issuance of the final contract documents to the selected supplier/contractor.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and cost avoidance in order to meet yearly targets set by the company.
  • Engaging with Global Procurement counterparts on enterprise-level opportunities and initiatives

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

  • 4 Year degree in business or technical discipline; Graduate level degree a plus
  • CPM/CPSM/CPCM or other professional certification preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement activities with various industries and interfacing with internal customers/stakeholders
  • 5+ years of procurement experience supporting multiple functional departments such as Operations, Information Technology, Human Resources and Marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to review and interpret commercial terms and conditions
  • Ability to lead procurement contract negotiations and mitigate risk to company
  • Excellent negotiating skills required for one-on-one negotiations, as well as group negotiations
  • Ability to produce high quality final contract documents
  • Knowledge of best practices in procurement and contracting
  • Experience in working with software systems associated with procurement and contracting
