Your role
As our Vice President Vehicle Logistics at FINN, you own one of the most strategic and dynamic topics in our Operations department.
Your team owns the two guaranteed physical touchpoints with every FINN customer - handover and return. These moments are make-or-break for customer trust.Historically, FINN operated a doorstep delivery model with external partners. This year, we added three FINN-operated handover and return locations in Munich, Berlin and Cologne to take control of customer experience and unlock scale and efficiency opportunities. As VP, you'll shape where this goes next - and then build it.
The role comes with substantial direct P&L responsibility and the key to enabling FINN’s future growth: with our current growth trajectory, we need to increase our capacity substantially. You'll report directly to the SVP Operations, lead a team of ~20 FTE, and work closely with a dedicated tech team.
Why FINN?
- This role is based in Munich with flexibility to work (temporarily) remotely from anywhere within Germany or from home.
- With massive growth potential, FINN allows you to quickly develop and succeed in a highly motivating startup environment with ambitious challenges in cross-functional teams.
- Competitive fixed salary, aligned with experience and qualifications, significant virtual equity share of the company, along with a yearly personal development budget of 3,000€.
- Our open, modern office in the middle of Munich is known for loads of fun with amazing colleagues and frequent team events
- Childcare allowance (€300 per child/month), and support in finding suitable childcare to help you balance work and family life.
- Discounted gym memberships and attractive mobility perks, such as special rates on FINN cars via JobAuto or bike leasing.
Your Responsibilities
- End-to-end vehicle logistics: customer handovers, returns, and all vehicle movements before and after the subscription.
- Direct P&L ownership across logistics costs and significant indirect impact on adjacent cost items, e.g. return damages.
- Strategic direction for FINN's logistics model — FINN Stations, external partnerships, and beyond
- Scaling operational capacity, in particular our FINN Station network, to enable our growth over the coming years
- Senior stakeholder and partner management, including MD-level negotiations with external logistics partners
- People leadership across a ~20 FTE team with varied functions and backgrounds
Your Profile
- 6+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment — ideally in an operations-heavy role
- Proven people leadership (2+ years) across diverse teams and profiles
- Entrepreneurial drive — you're equally comfortable whiteboarding a new operating model and fixing what's broken on the ground hands-on at our FINN Stations.
- Strong conceptual thinking paired with a bias for tangible, real-world execution
- Exceptional stakeholder and negotiation skills at senior management level
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving environments — you build the plane while flying it
- Willingness and ability to travel to our current & future FINN Stations regularly
- You speak German (C2) and English (C1+).
