We're looking for a motivated and driven HR Generalist (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

In this role, as part of the People Operations Team, you will be responsible for all tasks related to human resources management and driving local HR initiatives, ensuring best practices are implemented. You’ll play a key role in shaping our team and driving our company’s growth to the next level, with a direct and meaningful impact on our success.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

• You are responsible for all administrative HR tasks from employee onboarding to offboarding (e.g. contract management, onboarding and offboarding)
• You are responsible for the absence management (supporting parental leave & maternity leave processes)
• You are responsible for the social benefits implementation and administration
• You are responsible for the monthly payroll process (in close cooperation with an external payroll vendor)
• You participate in developing strategic projects, HR processes and implement them at a local level
• You are in charge of coordinating the process of health and safety at work - in cooperation with an external provider
• You advise and provide professional, reliable and discreet support to employees and management
• You stay up to date with the newest HR trends, updated HR regulations and labor laws and ensure FlixBus' adherence to all legal and compliance standard
• Manage all aspects of office operations, including ordering stationery and consumables, and liaising with service providers
• Organize and prepare all company events and major meetings in Sofia
• Manage and archive paper documentation as needed
• Assist in preparing policies and office guideline communications
• Support basic software maintenance tasks with remote IT assistance

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

• Degree in Psychology, Law, Economics, Business or Social sciences, ideally with a focus on HR
• 2-3 years experience as an HR generalist / administration role
• You have made other experiences in a start-up, strategy consultancy or a high-paced, dynamic environment
• Your work style is proactive, you are committed, team oriented and follow an accurate and structured way of thinking
• You are fully proficient in Office Suite, especially Excel
• You are highly motivated, assertive and passionate about achieving your goals
